Apache Trail day tour
On this tour visit Goldfield, see the Superstition mountain range, and Canyon Lake all in one day! Goldfield is a famous ghost town restored to its original glory in the days of the wild west. While at Goldfield, wander through shops and experience the old wild west. This mountain range is incredibly scenic and known for its desert terrain and history involving Native American tribes like the Apaches. The mountain range rings true to its namesake with tales of lost mines and missing travelers. Then hit the road on the Apache Trail and see the Superstitions and the Sonoran Desert along the trail. At Canyon Lake, you’ll see beautiful views of the desert from another point of view and on a steamboat! The steamboat ride lasts 90 minutes and is an old-fashioned paddle wheeler. Upon return, go down the road to see some of the oldest stagecoach stops in the Southwest, where gold was mined in the late 1800s. Visit the Tortilla Flat general store that is family owned for generations. This is a great location to shop for local novelties and have lunch. The last stop on the itinerary is the Lost Dutchman Museum so you can know all about this famed area.
