This is the excursion you should do. Besides it being so close to Placencia peninsula, it is really the stress-free activity to do. Leave the Caribbean Sea to take a short drive and unwind in the jungles of Belize.
After taking a short boat ride from Harvest Caye to Placencia, we will meet at the boat dock. This tour departs and returns at this location. We then take a short drive from Placencia peninsula, driving through Placencia village, Seine Bight Village, Maya Beach and North Placencia and continue until we meet the Southern Highway. The Placencia road is about 24 miles long. We take a short ¼ mile drive on the Southern Highway and we make a turn into a private farm. The short drive is made on dirt/gravel roads and it continues for at least 15 minutes.
You transportation literally drives to the site. Absolutely no hiking is involved. This excursion is ideal for the whole family. We enjoy river tubing for at least 1.5 hours after which we journey back to the municipal dock in Placencia.
This tour may be combined with Ziplining or River Tubing.
