A good tour, with ample time at each of the attractions, tour guides very passionate and knowledgeable (Michael and David). The first stop was a drive through of a Mayan Village, that stopped at a tourist market place with Cenote for swimming and restaurant buffet for food (you have to have or hire a life vest to swim... I'm a good swimmer and I found this actually hampered my ability to swim! - but I guess health and safety rules the world!!); next stop was to Chichen Itza where we had an hour long tour with the guide going through the history, theories and archeology then we had free time for photos, souvenir shopping and to grab a snack or drink, the last stop was a 30 minutes stop in Valladolid square where there are street food vendors, live entertainment and artisan shops lining the square, which was nice to have a quick walk through before heading back to hotels.
Cancun Bay Tours provided an unforgettable day!! Our tour guides, Viktor and Alex, were knowledgeable, entertaining and hospitable. They both 'know their stuff' and are passionate about sharing the history of the Mayan people and culture. They made the day a thoroughly enjoyable experience!
