Get your hiking shoes ready and join our Waterfall Heli-Trek adventure to soak in the Guanacaste´s incredible views! This waterfall helicopter tour and hike departs from our VIP Heliport. En route you will overfly one of Costa Rica´s active volcano, Rincon de la Vieja! (Old Woman´s Corner) We assure you that the slopes and surrounding areas of Rincón de la Vieja Volcano are certainly impressive from a helicopter!!
After navigating Guanacaste by air you will land in Borinquen Resort and Spa to start your hike to the waterfalls! Enjoy an exciting ride to the mountain and through the rainforest with beautiful panoramic views of the Volcano. This energetic hike will take you to the Mystery and the Hidden Waterfalls, where you can enjoy the view, swim and relax with the sound of water.
Experience exuberant forests, listen to the roaring waters of rivers and waterfalls, discover the legacies of ancient cultures and spot rare species of birds, lizards and mammals. You can upgrade your tour and add activities such as rafting, a park hike or a canopy adventure.
After your energetic hike, you can relax in the thermal pools and enjoy a delicious Costa Rican lunch immersed in the rainforest. After a day full of activities, return to our heliport in a short helicopter flight, and arrive just in time to catch the sunset in your hotel pool!
Tour duration: Approximately 6 hours.
What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes, bug repellant, light jacket, camera, bathing suit, sunscreen, change of clothes.
