Pass By: Plovdiv Old Town, Plovdiv 4000 Bulgaria

Our adventure starts at 09:00 am. We’ll take you from your hotel or the apartment where you stay.

Then we head to Starosel village and after 50 min drive, we’ll arrive there.

In Starosel we will:
- Visit of “Chetinyova mogila” tomb – one of the biggest mounds in Bulgaria. The open facility is not a traditional tomb, but a temple-tomb. It dates from V-VI century BC and is believed to be the tomb of the Thracian ruler – Sitalkes. Other than burials in the facility were initiated custom rituals related to the Thracian cult and believes – secret Orphic mysteries and rituals which were done in order to uplift the dead person’s soul into the arms of God.
- Wine tour and wine tasting in Starosel Winery – optional
- Free time for lunch in Starosel estate
- On the way back shortstop in Hisaria town – Roman ruins of Diocletianopolis city – Antique Roman city, built in the 1st century AD when Thrace was conquered by the Roman Empire.
