Meet up and continue along the stunning COASTAL Rd. This is an area designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) - the views are stunning. We pass, probably the prettiest beach in the UK - BLACKPOOL SANDS.
Stop At: The Sherman Tank Memorial Site, Slapton, Kingsbridge England
Stopping at TORCROSS to view the original WW2 memorial Sherman TANK and hear the very interesting and tragic story of Operation Tiger. Also the complete evacuation of the area including my own family members and the cattle from their farm nearby.

Stop At: Stokeley Farm Shop, Stokeley Barton Farm, Kingsbridge TQ7 2SE, UK
On to the famous Stokeley Farm Shop and incorporating a trip to SOUTH HAMS BREWERY. A proper DEVON CREAM TEA complete with strawberry jam and Devon clotted cream at Stokeley Farm Shop Cafe - yum! (included )

After crossing the river Dart by Ferry Tug from Kingswear, arrive in Dartmouth with free time to explore this pretty little town.

Stop At: Slapton Sands, Slapton, Kingsbridge TQ72TQ England
On to SLAPTON SANDS, - this is the area, that was completely Evacuated in 1944 for the American Troop to practise the D Day landings - ( Operation TIGER) it's a fascinating (& tragic) story. My mother and her family including their farm cattle were evacuated during this time.
