The journey of Royal trek begins in the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara and passes through beautiful Gurung hamlets. This Royal trek presents a true picture of uniqueness and allowing us the chance to capture traditional lifestyles of the tribes whose ancient religious practices and traditions have remained unchanged for thousands of years. During the trek you will enjoy stunning views of the expressively built hillside rice terraces, magnificent Annapurna range, Machapuchhre. The trip finally ends at the scenic Begnas Lake which is about 30 km west of Pokhara City.
The Royal trekking trip is basically recommended for beginners who are restricted by time to trek longer. Compared to other trekking areas in Annapurna region, Royal trekking route is less crowded.
Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu [1300 m/4264 ft]
Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
Day 03: Drive Pokhara [823m/2,700ft]: 6-7 hrs drive
Day 04: Pokhara to Kalikasthan [1,370m/4,496ft]: 1 hr drive, 4-5 hrs trek
Day 05: Kalikasthan to Syaklung [1,730m/5,675ft]:5-6 hrs
Day 06: Syaklung to Chisapani [1550m/5,084ft]: 5-6 hrs
Day 07: Chisapani to Pokhara
Day 08: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu: 6-7 hrs drive
Day 09: Departure
Best Season
The best time to do this trek is in the spring (Mar - May) & fall (Sep - Nov). It can be done in the summer, monsoon months as well, but be sure to prepare for the rain. You can also do this trek in winter, but best to inquire with one of our local experts if all the necessary teahouses will be open at this time. Avalanches can also be a risk during the winter months, so it is important to trek with a knowledgeable guide who is familiar with the conditions.
Permits
You should buy Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) and Trekker's Information Management System (TIMS) which are to be displaced at the checkpoint in the beginning.

We shall arrange you the Homestay and tented accommodation during the trek, and the meals cooked by our own cook.
