This was one of the favorite tours for our group of 15. The places to visit were really good. Only downside was our driver. We had taken the option of an English speaking driver and not gone with the guide. Our driver barely spoke English. Didn't say anything on the whole trip except when he would pick us up. That was a disappointment
A great tour with an over the top guide. Our guide had prepared maps for us and had a dash mounted Ipad with pictures and maps so that we really understood where we were and what to see. He was also very personable. Outstanding tour, highly recommend. Dick c
Loved Pompeii! Our driver picked us up at the cruise ship dock and took us to Pompeii where he set us up with a private guide of the site Extra , The private guide was well worth the . We decided to skip the shopping in Positano and Sorrento, so he took us up Mt Vesuvius and waited for us while we hiked to the top. Amazing views from the rim of the crater! We were going to visit a winery, but decided to head back to the ship a bit early after a Pizza lunch at a local place. The flexibility of this tour allowed us to spend our time just as we wanted to.
We had a really wonderful day, our driver Sergio from Sorrento was a terrific driver and took great care on all the roads. Loved Positano and would love to revisit one day. My only comment was perhaps not long enough time at each destination, but we had to cover a lot of area. Would certainly recommend and hope you get Sergio
A long day but a good one. Very interesting seeing Pompeii.
