We were using this tour to fill in the day we landed on Sao Miguel at 6am but flying out to Santa Maria at 6pm. Our flight was delayed 6 hours coming in. Henrique our host adjusted himself 3 times for our pickup at the airport..yet he was cheerful and warm. He took us for an abbreviated tour but all along he was charming and full of information. Thank you for making a very long day worth remembering.
This private tour was th best wa to start our trip. Our knowledgeable guide gave us a perfect day— a bit of hiking; a driving tour of highlights of the island and a terrific lunch. He also suggested additional hiking spots and activities to fill out our five-day stay. We appreciated the photos stops, his history and his good company. Like having a friend along for the day who knew just where to go!!
