Enchanted Antigua City Tour

Journey to the colonial capital of Antigua at 5,500 feet above sea level via a scenic 90-minute. On this narrated drive through Guatemalans lowlands, sample exotic fruits prepared and sanitized to sweeten your journey. Keep an eye out for magnificent views of volcanoes, cattle and sugar cane plantation. At 5,000 feet above sea level, you will discover Antigua, the colonial jewel of the Americas. Enter Antigua through the village of Jocotenango and enjoy the Owls Marquette, the Merced church built in the 1700s. Once in Antigua, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will visit Central Park and enter the Cathedral when open. Walk 4 blocks to the Jade Museum & Factory where fine jadeite jade is transformed into works of art (jadeite jade is found mainly in Guatemala and Burma). On your way to the factory, enjoy the Spanish architecture and homes build 500 years ago. Right after, you will have free time to explore the surrounding buildings like Casa Santo Domingo, and then enjoy Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch you will be boarding the motor coach to return to the ship.
