Operates: The Douro Line train departs from Porto at 09:14 and arrives at Freixo de Numão station at 12:27. The meeting point is at S.Bento station, where our guide will give you a kit with a map and a bottle of water. On arrival our skipper will be waiting for you to embark and head towards lunch in a traditional restaurant with magnificent views. After an authentic and complete lunch in the region, we will go downstream, passing by the famous Douro farms where the most awarded Port wines are produced. We will sail to the famous Valeira Canyon, full of legends and history. On the way back, we will taste a 40-year-old Port wine in the oldest Douro warehouse. At this stage you are ready for the return trip on the 17:46 train, enjoying the orange tones of the sunset, in a line that glides smoothly along the river Douro to Oporto city where you will arrive at 20:35.
