Very informative guide/driver, Lola. She explained the region and wine making along the way. We stopped at Aneto winery for tastings and lunch. I had the smoked Portuguese sausage and my husband had the duck. Both were excellent. We bought some rose to take home After a scenic drive we took the boat cruise down the Douro then drove way up the hills to Quinta do Jalloto winery for more tastings where the wine maker gave us a special treat tasting of his not yet bottled late harvest. So good and we couldn't even buy yet! It was a great day. I highly recommend the Cooltours. Lola is the best!

Extremely enjoyable and well-run tour! Never seemed rushed at all. Hugo is the best -- he's both personable and eager to share his knowledge of the area. If only all excursions were so good....
