The trip was just what we wanted given our short time in Porto. The various elements of the day, the visits to the wineries, lunch and the boat trip were delightful. Our guide Marina was very good and entertained us when we were stuck in traffic which was the only drawback. Would recommend.

The tour started late. It seemed like the guide was a bit disorganized. Many tours left from the same location so it was a bit chaotic. The group size was big so it took time to get on and off the bus. The information the guide provided was a bit basic and uninteresting (talked about how people are living out of the city due to high costs of living, the grades required for universities - same thing could be said about any big city). The two wineries were nice but we had already tasted wine/port from one of them so it would have been good to know in advance which ones we were visiting. The lunch was nice but we were told there would be fish and pork. I don't eat meat but was content to eat fish. Unfortunately the fish was cooked with potatoes and cream and there was not so much fish so I was bit unsatisfied with the meal. If you eat meat, it would have been fine. We would have preferred more information with the tastings about the different wines/ports.

It was an amazing trip to the most beautiful and unique place! Our tour guide Miquel was so knowledgable and provided a lot of interesting facts and information. Lunch was delicious and wine tastings very impressive. Porto wines - new surprising discovery for us. Unforgettable and a must-see trip!

It’s definitely a long day but the tour was definitely worth it—best way to learn about and see Douro Valley as a whole and the scenery is stunning! Make sure to ask for Francisco!!

This was an amazing tour. The scenery is stunning on the drive up to the Douro from Porto. The guide was excellent, enthusiastic and knowledgable. Lunch was by the water in a beautiful restaurant serving local food in generous quantity along with good local wine. We then embarked on a boat trip that showed us more of the beauty of the region. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our day in Lamego and the Douro Valley. Our guide, Pedro, made the trip wonderful. He was very personable and friendly. I am traveling with my parents, who had a lot of questions, but as my father said, Pedro was never stumped. The Valley was beautiful, too! Great day.

It was an excelent day. Jonathan was a very good diver and guide. The tour description did not mention a short boat cruise on the Douro which was a nice surprise. Highly recommended!
