1 day
About this activity
Itinerary
This activity starts at Vilarinho das Furnas, a place known for a beautiful lagoon surrounded by forests and montains. If you are a beginner I’ll teach you the basics of photography, which will help you to operate your camera in manual mode during the rest of the workshop and improve your photography greatly.
Afterwards, we will walk along the "Geira Romana" trail, through beautiful oak and strawberry tree forests, with the objective of photographing everything of interest and consolidating the knowledge learned before. We will try to photograph many species of animals that live in these beautiful and rich ecosystems, as the Eurasian jay, the Iberian emerald lizard, the Iberian frog, butterflies and many other species. This is also the ideal place to photograph flowers or mushrooms. After lunch we are going to drive through the oldest forest of Portugal and we might have time for some photography there too. Then we are going to stop in one of the most beautiful viewpoints, the Pedra Bela, which is great for landscape photography. The National Park is known for its crystal clear rivers and amazing waterfalls and this workshop wouldn’t be finished without photographing some of them.
