Our local guide, born and raised in the mountains was a shepherd for 170 goats before he went traveling around the world for himself. He will take you on a 3 hour hiking trip, explaining the countryside and the nature heritage of the Park. If you are lucky you can see wild horses or a roebuck on the track.
Meeting in a traditional Portuguese restaurant for lunch, you will taste the typical local cuisine of the mountain people. After lunch you will have some free time to visit the village and explore people and culture on your way. Enjoy the afternoon at a lagoon, that you can dive into crystal clear water if you feel up to. We show you the best places, off the beaten tracks. Discover for yourself!
