This was an excellent tour. Three different port houses and 8 generous tastes of different kinds and ages of port. Our guide was well informed and organized, and the experts at the port houses were very knowledgeable.A very good tour and a very happy ending.

Fabulous intro to port wine. Lucas our tour guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He achieved his opening objective of making a group of people on the tour a group of friends at the end.

Very entertaining and informative tour. Guide was very good and very engaging, and the pours at the port houses were very generous. One small criticism: there was a lot of filler and the tour could have been 30-60 minutes shorter without losing its charm. For example, there is no need for the members of a large tour group to spend 15 minutes introducing themselves to everyone else at the beginning of the tour.

What a beautiful tour of the Douro valley. Two port tours, excellent lunch and a boat cruise on the river. Our guide Joac Sousa was fun, informative and a great source of information. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Booked two days before with Viator. David met us at the bridge and was helpful from the start. Communicated well to the whole group and really looked after us all. Interesting tour of the A. Ramos Pinto port wine museum. A short walk through Gaia to another lodge and we then had a professional tasting lesson. Tasted a mixture of 7 different ports, which were delightful. David had a lot of knowledge about the history of the Gaia lodges and the ports.
