Jiřího z Poděbrad Square was established in 1896 and it is lined with cafes and shops and hosts a semi-weekly farmers market among other open-air festivals. The square is dominated by the exceptional modern Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Our Lord from 1928-1932.

The Zizkov Television Tower at 216 meters is the highest structure in the city of Prague. This unique transmitter tower was built between 1985 and 1992. It has a panorama 360°view. Apart from the observatory, there is also a bar and restaurant. The tower is decorated by the sculptures of unborn babies made by the famous artist David Cerny.

Stop At: Old Jewish Cemetery in Zizkov, Fibichova 6, Prague 130 00 Czech Republic
The Old Jewish Cemetery is among the oldest surviving Jewish burial grounds in the world and along with the Old-New Synagogue, it is the most important site in the Prague Jewish Town. The National Geographic magazine lists it among the top ten cemeteries to visit around the world.
It was founded in the first half of the 15th century. The earliest tombstone dates back to 1439; the last burial took place 348 years later.
Although the cemetery was expanded several times over the centuries, it was still not big enough to meet the needs of the Jewish Town. As space was scarce, bodies were buried on top of each other, with graves layered up to 10 deep.
There are about 12,000 tombstones in the cemetery, many decorated with animal and plant motifs.

The whole park still exudes an atmosphere of the 1930s, dominated by a bronze equestrian statue of Jan Žižka, one of the ten largest equestrian statues in the world.
