Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient healing system that was born in Thailand around 2500 ago. This therapeutic style of massage combines soft tissue manipulation techniques, Indian Ayurvedic principle, assisted yoga postures, breathing and meditation to bring the body into a state of deep relaxation. We will learn and practice the different techniques of Thai yoga massage, which you will be able to use at home.
We will learn how to move your client's body with minimal effort and maximum result into many different positions and how to stretch the muscle and relieve the pain. We will practice how to be positioned in a variety of yoga-like positions during the course of the massage, but deep static and rhythmic pressures form the core of the massage. We will learn how to relieve pain, restore muscle balance, and increase flexibility & range of motion and energy in the body. You will give and receive the massage during our experience and will be able to perform a one-hour full body massage. You will receive a cheat sheet with the techniques we have learned after this workshop
