Nizbor Bohemia Glass Factory Trip from Prague

Enjoyed seeing the glass factory and the way glasses are made by hand. Our only issue was with transportation. One of us had to sit beside the driver(middle of the sea) and he refused to take us back to our hotel.

I would like to express the deep disappointment we experienced on a so called tour of the Nizbor Bohemia Glass Factory on the above date. As both the main large furnace and the polishing factory were closed to the public, and only two glass blowers out of a normal TWENTY TWO 20 were NOT working due to factory renovations we were hardly able to see anything. There were a few cutters operating, but in total, our TOUR lasted about 20 minutes. We certainly did not get our money's worth which was USD95.36 in our South African currency that is an enormous amount of money for VERY POOR SERVICE. We should definitely have been told when handing in our vouchers , that most of the factory was non-operational and been given the option of whether or not we still wanted to go!!!!

My wife and I had a great time - lucky to be ONLY us in the mini bus with a driver and guide. I could pepper them with questions which they were happy to answer. Glass is such an interesting medium. The factory is very interesting to walk thru. No hard sell in the shop. great prices and very friendly. a nice way to get out Prague.

Very enjoyable tour. But, instead of taking us back to our hotel where they picked us up, we were dropped off in an unfamiliar area and had to find our way back, because they "didn't have time" to take us back.

It was amazing to see the works of the glass blowing.Unfortunately my camera was not workingno flash allowed so I do not have pictures.Our guide and driver were great, since there was only two of us, she offered to take us back to our hotel,however we opted to walk. The Lady at the glass works was very helpful in answering questions. We would do this tour again , like I said awesome.
