Our guide was extremely knowledgable accommodating to everyone in the group. His explanation of the historical origins of the castle and its development since were great.
We enjoyed this easy paced tour that lead us through old town up to the Prague Castle and back to lesser town. Our guide, Mike, was a history expert. He was able to explain details concerning the city's historical events that were important to understand. I recommend doing your own reading on the city's history before taking a tour because you will get so much more if you have a little background understanding. Our tour was in the afternoon, not as crowded as morning time.
Mike was a great guide, and full of stories on the architecture of the castle, and the human stories and history behind the castle, and the amazing St Vitus cathedral.
Hanza was a perfect guide for us. We learned so much history on this tour. Most impactful story for me was learning more about King Wenceslaus.
Ended up having a private tour with Mike which was wonderful. Took tram up to castle and walked all about with him pointing things out and giving us the history. Castle is a big complex so I was glad to have a guide. Walked back down through lesser town, to Lennon wall and across Charles bridge. Highly recommend this tour
We had an awesome tour with Michael. He did a great job of highlighting the history and weaving in a few travel tips check out this cafe, it's the best place to get beer at a local price in this area. He had a few visual aids he brought with him that were really helpful to show how a building used to look, or a historical map, that really helped tie things together. He took his time when we were interested in something and didn't drag along if we weren't. He's clearly very knowledgeable about the history of this area and had no problems answering any questions we had. Couldn't have really asked for more, if you get the chance to do this tour I'd highly recommend it!
Our guide was so knowledgeable about Prague and made the tour so interesting. He had answers to any questions we had and even gave us some good recommendations for places to eat. I wish we could see more in the castle but that's no ones fault as a lot of the castle is closed to visitors.
