Tucked below the Castle, Prague’s charming quarter of Malá Strana has many delightful pubs hidden along its winding streets. On our tour, you’ll be escorted to the best of these pubs by our knowledgeable beer guides. You’ll visit 3 authentic Czech pubs, drinking beers from acclaimed breweries and sampling a variety of different beer styles.

To start, you’ll learn and taste why an impeccably fresh Pilsner Urquell has become the archetype of the world’s favorite beer style.

Next, we’ll learn about different beer styles and the traditional brewing methods which have been used for centuries by Czech microbreweries. To finish, you’ll have a guided beer tasting of 3 beers- 2 types of well crafted lagers and an acclaimed IPA in 3 of Prague’s best, and oldest, microbreweries.

Our Mala Strana Pub Hop includes a scenic leisurely walk uphill. From our first pub to the second pub, you’ll have to walk along a historic street tucked below the castle, for about 10-15 minutes. From our second pub to the last, there’s a less demanding walk of about 5 minutes, with a spectacular view of Prague below. If this amount of walking concerns you, we can easily take the tram, but please write us beforehand.
We don’t think it’s too demanding, and including a bit of exercise is good for building up thirst for your next beer!
