About this activity
Once you meet your guide at a centrally located meeting point, you can get ready for this 3-hour guided walk. From the Old Town Square you will first head to the Charles Bridge, while listening to your guide talking about the Old Town legends.
Once there, you will walk across Charles Bridge and then take the tram up to Prague Castle where you will learn about the history of Charles bridge and Prague Castle.
As you make your way towards the castle, you can stop to admire the view of Hradcany, or the castle district, while learning about its history.

Excellent tour guide who introduced us to her lovely City - a must do if this is your first or even second/third visit to Prague. You will get to see all of the main sites/hear the history from Roman through WW2 to current. Even if you have been to Prague previously you are bound to learn more by going on this tour. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Our guide on this tour was a historian and extremely knowlegeable. Initially i found him a little difficult to understand but soon adapted to his accent. He pointed out some interesting and intricate architectural features that would have been otherwise mIssed.
We absolutely loved this tour. There was only 3 of us on the tour which meant it was really easy to hear everything our guide said and ask questions. The sights you see are fantastic including some hidden gems off the beaten track, but the highlight has to be Prague Castle. Whilst you don't get to go into the castle although easy enough to do once the tour finishes the guide provided loads of information and we walked through all of the grounds including the beautiful gardens. There are free tours available in Prague but they will have 30-40 people on them, with this tour there was only 3 of us so overall much better value and more enjoyable.
