Our first stop of the day will be The Bastei rock formation, which is located only 2hrs from Prague. When we arrive it is just a ten-minute walk before you are met by some breathtaking views over the Elbe canyon and river. From here you will be able to walk across the famous Bastei Bridge and explore the ruins of the old Neurathen fortress (from the 13th century). Here you will also see an abundance of incredible sandstone pillars which are part of The Elbe Sandstone Mountains, a key part of Saxon Switzerland’s unique beauty.

The Elbe Sandstone Mountains are extremely popular amongst hikers, climbers and mountain bikers all of whom love to relax in Toskana Therme in Bad Schandau where they can receive pampering and relaxation all year round.
