Stop At: St Barbara's Cathedral, Barborska Street, Kutna Hora 284 01 Czech Republic
Meet your private driver and guide at your Prague hotel, from where your half-day trip starts. After an approximate 1.5-hour drive, you will reach the medieval town Kutna Hora, which was one of the richest and most important towns after Prague in medieval Bohemia for a certain period in the 14th and 15th centuries.
During your guided tour you will be shown several impressive buildings in Kutna Hora, such as Church of St. James (Sv. Jakub), the oldest among them. The church may seem a bit pale compared to the artistic Cathedral of St. Barbara, one of the most impressive cathedrals in Central Europe. Italian Court is one of the most valuable monuments of Kutná Hora with its Neo-Gothic reconstruction being a great example of cultural preservation methods and techniques a century ago. Ossuary is also worth a visit to see where human bones are being used for decorations.
Your guide will be happy to recommend you a nice restaurant for lunch (not included in the price) before your return transfer back to Prague.
Duration: 20 minutes

outstanding-you just have to see it to believe it all-out guide was superb.
We had an amazing tour! Our tour guide, Blanca, was terrific. She shared lots of history and interesting stories about life in Prague, and the tour of Kutna Hora was one of the best of our 27 day trip. We were lucky to be in Kutna Hora during a folklore festival and got to enjoy that along with our tour of the town. Given the 100 degree temps that broke a 100 year record, she recommended a silver mining tour rather than the tour we had planned, as it would be cooler. It worked out perfectly and we appreciated her suggestion. This was a highlight of our trip!
