About this activity
Český Krumlov, a medieval town in South Bohemia, retains its fairytale-like atmosphere to these days and is well-deserving of its inclusion on UNESCO's list of cultural heritage sites. Our guide will lead you through the narrow, winding streets of the historical centre, filled with Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque buildings from the times of the Rožmberk, Eggenberg and Schwarzenberg noble families. Finally, you will visit the local castle, the second largest castle in the Czech Republic, filled with ancient furniture, artwork, tapestries and exquisitely adorned weapons (during summer time) or the local Castle Museum (winter time) and have the unique opportunity to peek into secrets of castle depositories, which are reminiscent of the most important events related to owners Krumlov estate. Also you’ll be free to explore the town on your own.

Should your stay in Prague afford a spare day then this full day excursion must really be considered. This historic place is well worth a visit and should be given consideration. We had a very good guide and had a meal by the river which was most pleasant.
We loved exploring this town and the castle. A beautiful and relaxing place to visit.
This was an amazing little town with an incredible castle. We had a great guide who provided much information about the city.
Three of us travelling to Cesky on 7 March was a treat. The guide, Diana, was a vivacious, informative lovely guide and definitely added to the experience. We were in Cesky when it was snowing so that was certainly a treat. Lunch was included in our tour and we enjoyed this too. Definitely worth a trip to Cesky.
Trip to Cesky Krumlov was fantastic! Had a great time with special thanks to our guide, Karolina! Sylvio and Maria, Malta
Trip was wonderful. Only thing which could have made it better would have been lunch on our own. Guide was very good.
