Stop At: Voortrekker Monument, Eeufees Road Groenkloof 358-Jr, Pretoria 0187 South Africa

It is the biggest monument in Africa at a height of 40 metres. It is made of granite and built on top of a hill. It was built to honor those who left the Cape Colony under British control in search of their own independence, these people became known as the Voortrekkers. This was between 1835 and 1854. There is a wall with 64 wagons which circles the monument. This symbolises the 64 wagons used at the battle of Blood River.

National monument and is the official seat of government and the office of the president. Beautiful gardens with only indigenous plants and a amazing panoramic view of the city. It is also the place of many historical events relating to the freedom struggle

Stop At: Kruger House Museum, 60 Church Street, Pretoria 0081 South Africa

Kruger House Museum which was built in 1884 and was the first house in Pretoria to have electricity. It is restored to the same conditions that it was like over a century ago when Kruger was president.

Stop At: Church Square, Stanza Bopape Street, Pretoria 0186 South Africa

It is Pretoria’s city centre with a statue of the first President Paul Kruger surrounded by 4 Boer soldiers. Many old buildings are surrounding the area, and is quite something to see.
