Another great excursion to enable us to see other parts of Cyprus. Nicosia was just like visiting most other cities although it was an experience to see the so-called Green Line which divides the city. If you like visiting small churches with their iconic paintings then the Virgin Mary of Asinou church is well worth seeing. The next stop on the journey was Troodos Mountains Square where we stopped for lunch not included but only 10 euro per person for a buffet meal which was well worth it. The views on the way up the mountains and in and from the square are excellent. Our next visit was to Lania village where you were able to do wine tasting and explore this small village. From here we made our way to Limassol where there was free time to explore the Marina and the old town.
