While you wait your turn to board the cable car at the mountain base, you will enjoy typical music – then the views of the mountain and sea as you make the ascent. As you leave the cable car you will see the Christ the Redeemer statue – a smaller version of the one located in Brazil.

Stop At: Mount Isabel de Torres, Puerto Plata Dominican Republic
You will stroll the botanical gardens as your guide gives you the names of the various plants and flowers before making the mountain descent via a scenic mountain road.

Stop At: Fort San Felipe, Puerto Plata Dominican Republic
You will make a stop at Fort San Felipe for photos and to learn of Puerto Plata's pirate past.
