Day 1: Flight to Delhi and 3-Hrs drive to Agra (No Meal)
Pass By: India Gate, Near Connaught Place New Delhi, New Delhi 110001 India
Pickup around at 5am from any of the city, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi (Cochin), Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Goa or Pune Hotel or Anywhere and transfer to airport to board your flight to Delhi. Arrival Airport in Delhi and drive to Agra 3 Hrs via Express Highway brings you to the City of Taj Mahal, Agra.
Evening enjoy Photo Tour of Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh - The Moonlight Garden, believed to have been designed by Shah Jahan to view the Taj on moonlight nights, far away from the maddening crowd, The garden complex is situated on the left bank of Yamuna opposite to Taj Mahal.
After Mehtab Bagh enjoy the shopping in Agra is known for its fabulous handicrafts, made of marble and softstone inlay work. The Mughals were great patrons of arts and crafts. Empress Nur Jahan took personal interest and was an accomplished artist herself in zari embroidery work. Agra's major handicraft products besides inlay work are: leatherware, brassware, carpets, jewellery and embroidery work.

After breakfast we visit The Imposing Agra Fort (A Unesco World Heritage Site), Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, this huge fort is made of red sandstone. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. The maze of the courtyards, mosques & private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.
After Lunch drive back to Delhi and drop-off at Delhi Airport and Fly to Onward Destination.

The tour was well organized all the way from Pune to Delhi and back to Pune. The local tour agent Mr Raj Sharma's replies were always very Prompt. The duration of the tour was just right. The flight that they agency arranged were at wee hours - 5am depart Pune and 2240pm depart Delhi. The timing could be improve. The shops that the local guide brought us were expensive, should consider bringing us to local shops instead. Overall, the experience was good. Would recommend this tour for those who want to see the Taj Mahal from Pune.
