The fun starts as soon as you get picked up from your resort. Our entertaining guides will have you laughing as they tell you all about the incredible countryside you are travelling through. Learn about the culture, schools, entertainment and life in general from an insiders point of view.

After a short scenic drive you will arrive at our launching point an authentic hand made cigar shop where we disembark to begin our eco-adventure. Here you will discover the different scents and tastes of some of the finest tobacco in the world. Sample a cherry or chocolate cigar while they explain the methods in making their cigars and if you want to give it a try they will assist you in rolling your own.

Next it's time to introduce you to our fantastic Higueyano horses. Don't worry if you have never ridden before, the combination of our great horses and guides ensures your first time will be an easy and safe experience. We ride out through a small village and then down a beautiful mountain path where we make our way to a flat meadow. Here our more adventurous riders have the opportunity to gallop across the countryside while the others meander along a shorter route at a walk or a slow trot. We customize each and every ride to the level of experience for each of our riders.

Traveling further down the mountain path we reach the Anamuya River which we travel alongside and across several times. Those that want to get wet, can go deeper in the river when safe conditions are present and those that want the dryer route will take the higher path until we reach the bottom of our enchanting, secluded ranch.

The fun doesn’t end as you disembark from your horse! Get your adrenaline pumping while you soar back across the river on a safe and fun, double-cable zipline. View the breathtaking landscape from a different perspective as professional guides instruct and assist you through every part of your zipline adventure.

After you’ve worked up an appetite, enjoy an amazing Dominican feast prepared with local recipes, complete with fresh coffee from the ranch. Then it's time for more fun while you take a tour of the ranch and discover the many varieties of plants found here, including cocoa, coffee and vanilla. You’ll observe how cocoa is processed and, of course, enjoy plenty of fresh samples and experience Dominican rituals and culture.

Once you've caught your breath we will mount up again and begin our journey back along the river and up the mountain to the village.

Back at our starting point, our vehicle is waiting to take you back to your resort as we say our goodbyes to our new friends making for a complete day of adventure and learning in the Dominican Republic in a safe, fun and friendly environment.

We had such an amazing time on this excursion. They let us ride fast with the horses and do whatever we wanted as long as we stayed with the tour guide. It was our favorite excursion out of all the other ones we did. Total freedom and the horses were so good for us :-). All of the staff we met were the friendliest people and very accommodating. We also saw these beautiful wild horses/stallions and a baby. These absolutely beautiful white doves flew out from the field and it was like a dream or heaven. I have them a big tip for making everything so special and fun. We love you guys!!

This was definitely a great deal for what you get. Riding horses into the ranch was absolutely beautiful. The guides took care of us and made sure we were comfortable. You get to the ranch and have a little break and then get ready to zip line. I believe there were 5 of them. They are with you every step of the way. It's not too high so kids would love it and especially for a first time experience it was great. Then we had a really delicious family style lunch which was fun to experience with the other people in the group we didn't know. Then they do a cocoa presentation and take you around the grounds to see all the trees and explain what they have there. They ground up the most amazing chocolate and then made hot chocolate for us. Then you get to taste mama juana! It's delicious and the locals love that you know what it is if you ask for it at the resorts. Then you take another horse ride back to the van. It's so beautiful and peaceful. I definitely recommend this company and this experience. The guides were fun, courteous and very respectful. A few tips: call the day before so you know your pick up time. Wear long pants as you will be outside and you most likely will get bug bites. Wear closed toed shoes if possible. Bring sunscreen and some water. A GoPro was a must for this experience. Enjoy!

This was by far one of the best excursions I've ever been on. Horseback riding for first time was amazing, Our tour guide was awesome, food was excellent. Ziplining was fantastic. Cigars were great.

This excursion was so fun and Jose was a big part of it. It was the 2nd time my husband and I had road horses so we were a little nervous but it was fun. We stopped for lunch and had the best fried chicken I had had in a long time. Jose said his wife made it:- After that we went ziplining. This was a first for me and my husband. To say that we were nervous is putting it mildly but we had fun and would go ziplining again. I would definitely recommend this excursion because as I mentioned Jose was wonderful and made the excursion even better than what it was. Keep up the good work Jose!
