Small group e-bike tour has me wanting to trade in my Trek for an ebike. Pierre was a fantastic guide and took us all around the town of Quebec City. Unfortunately, my bike had a dead battery halfway through the tour as the bike was not checked out properly before leaving, not the fault of Pierre. A second bike was dispatched to us midway through our ride but meanwhile I had a hell of a workout running on one horsepower up some pretty steep hills. What a breeze on a properly charged bike though. Definitely do this tour but be sure to have them check the battery before leaving the shop.
Pierre our tour guide was very friendly and had all sorts of interesting information about the history of the city. If you're a little hesitant about pedaling up some of QC's challenging hillsides, electric bikes are the way to go.
This is the best way to see the old parts of Quebec City. Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient. My wife and I are not in the best shape, but we had no difficulties with the electric bikes. Our tour group was only 5 people and I was told that was the typical size. We had to leave the last part of the tour due to rain, but still about 2.5 hours.
