Our visit to Cotopaxi National Park and the Quilotoa creator lake was a wonderful introduction to the natural wonders and culture of Ecuador. Roberto, our guide, was knowledgeable and informative, friendly and upbeat. It was along day on the bus, but Robertos running commentaries gave us many insights into the environments that we encountered, as well as insights into the indigenous communities of the Central highlands. We would highly recommend this trip to others.
This tour is a long bus ride 8-9 hours and only about 3-4 hours of actual sightseeing. There's a late lunch and at Quilotoa Volcano it was foggy, so that not much can be seen. It's a long day.
Great to see both Cotopaxi and Quilatoa in one day. Beware - long day. Don't make plans for that night you may be back later than expected and tired! Great guide - very informative.
Great trip!
We saw both Cotopaxi and Quilotoa, and we even saw a condor flying above. We got a good feel for the countryside including vertical farming and rural life. The guide was professional and had so much information to share! It was a fun day, and I learned a lot.
Good tour!
Exceeded my expectations.
