You really get to accomplish a lot in these 3 days. The tour company was good, as were the friendly guides.
We highly recommend Artic Adventures. The only thing we would have changed is going on the lava cave tour before the golden circle. We opted out of the golden circle which we didnt want to but the lava cave portion left us a bit sweaty and since we would be outside for the golden circle we didnt want to go without a change of clothes. Excellent tour guides and bus drivers.
My tour was not booked properly so, i ended up wasting 2days so they can rearrange my tour schedules to fit the remaining days of my vacation. On October 15, Sunday as the scheduled start of my tour, no one arrived to pick us up. then on October 15, Monday, again no one arrived so, I approached Hilton Canopy for help and they did contacted Arctic Adventure, who never had my tours in the system??? i emailed viator October 15, but no answer. the only contact i had was my tour email from viator??? it was disappointing and wasted! my days were filled with half days tour and wasted Blue Lagoon time because i was given 2 hours only to use the booking!!! money and time wasted.
I give this 3-day package 5 stars!! Logistics was expertly planned so pick-ups, gear issue, etc. were all very smooth. There was no unnecessary down time while guides sorted out what they were supposed to be doing. All guides were professional, very informative and experienced.
This 3 day tour was offered by Arctic Adventure. My guides were so knowledgeable, considerate and went above what the description stated. I could have been more satisfied with this experience.
It was amazing. Well organized, with very knowledgeable tour guides!
Very friendly and competent staff, but in my opinion in generell overpriced even for Iceland, should be at least 20 cheaper. Understanding that hotel pick-up includes some waiting and organization am also thinking that this should be improved as waiting time of nearly one hour is way too much! Attractions as Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon are tourists spots, so not expecting to really experience Iceland's great nature there I was still disappointed. Glacier hiking and ice climbing was awesome and a big recommendation, as you couldn't/ shouldn't do it on your own.
