i love this tour so much it was so fun and lot of informations and i loved the stories and the places❤️
Simon made the long day tour fun even in the rain. We also did the Snæfellsnes west coast with him because he was such a great guide.
This was a long bus trip to the Lagoon but when you get there the lagoon is so worth it. The day we went the weather was clear and we could see so many sights along the way. You also see a couple of really great waterfalls - and can even go behind one of them. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland.
long day, 14 hours with an early start but the scenery was breathaking, would highly recommend this toue
Long tour for only an hour at the Lagoon - probably best taken in Summer when there is more to see. Guide was helpful and knowledgeable. Driver very skilled as conditions were a bit rough at times. Plenty of comfort stops.
The most amazing experience. I can't recommend this trip highly enough. It is quite a long journey but it passes so quickly and the glacial lagoon is well worth traveling for. This particular company were brilliant, the guide was really knowledgeable and very helpful. His stories and tour given on the bus journey were really interesting and helped pass the time. The two stops at waterfalls on the way are also brilliant and help break up the journey. Of all the places we visited in Iceland, including the blue lagoon, golden circle tour etc, this was by far the best and was the highlight of our trip. Every person in our group was in agreement about that. Make sure you take lots of warm clothing as it can very cold at the lagoon. Gloves, hats, warm coats and scarves are a must. I would recommend taking a change of clothing as Icelandic weather can be very unpredictable and if you get soaked by the rain etc. it is a long bus journey home feeling cold. Another good tip is to sit on the left hand side of the bus as you get to see the best of the scenery on the way out. On the way back it is dark so it doesn't matter! Also, take a good camera as the scenery is breathtaking!
Totally worth it. Prospect of being inside the bus for over 8/9 hours but there are so much to see on the way you will not be too phased by the duration of the journey. I am so glad I took this trip instead of the ones that goes as far as the south coast.
