Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Thingvellir National Park, Thingvellir Iceland
Hop out of your coach at the gorge of Thingvellir, the stomping ground of the White Walkers and the trail that the savage Wildlings took across the north to the Wall. Marvel at the fissure in the earth's crust where the European and American tectonic plates slowly drift apart, and take in the expansive Icelandic landscape that stretches around you. Our tour guide Dee Dee was very knowledgeable about GOT, she brought her own pictures to match up with the exact locations we stopped at. She was so funny and might I add not a bad singer. The sights were cool even if you were not a GOT fan. Nice comfortable bus with stops for food and restrooms. Very nice overall experience and our guide Dee Dee kicked it up a notch with her bubbly personality and humor.
This was the best time ever!! Theo was an absolutely wonderful guide - funny and very informative. We really enjoyed seeing the filming locations and hearing all of his stories as an extra in the series. The tour was definitely a high-light during our trip to Iceland. A must for any fellow Game of Throney!!! Thanks Theo!!!
Our tour group had 15 people and we had a brilliant day. The tour guide was so knowledgable about the show and it was entertaining to hear about his experiences as an extra. He had an epic sense of humor and was happy to chat about Iceland in general too. It is a must do!
Whether you're a GOT fan or not you’re going to have the best time on this one of a kind tour. The itinerary, perfect and relevant. The sights, breathtaking! The bus, warm and comfortable and the driver outstanding and plenty of comforts stops were scheduled in.Lastly, the most important part, Theo, the guide, was Unique and knowledgeable and very entertaining! I loved this tour and think anyone would.
The tour itself was amazing. We left right on time and our first stop was at a horse farm. The weather initially was snowy and cloudy,it made you feel as though you were in an episode. The tour guide Theo was very knowledgeable and humorous. I appreciated the driver as well, very cautious. Great trip!
