Next, we’re calling the Avenger-lovers! Step into the world of Norse gods at the Skógafoss waterfall which was featured in the filming of Thor 2: The Dark World (2013). The waterfall isn’t just fit for gods, it was also where The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013) and Dilwale (2015) were partly filmed. The next point of call is the abandoned US Navy plane wreck at the black sands of Sólheimasandur - definitely a must-see site. The plane appeared in one of Justin Bieber´s music videos, ‘I’ll Show You“ and in the romantic music video for the song Gerua staring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol Mukherjee. Often referred to as the most impressive beach in Iceland, Reynisfjara beach is up next.
