We enjoyed our day with Hilda and learned a lot about the sights on the Golden Circle Tour. We also learned about Iceland, the language, and local customs. Hilda was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. We would recommend this tour to friends and family.
Choosing a small group tour was the best move. The cost was well worth the comfort and attention we received from our guide Fundar...? We had a very orderly and responsible group so we moved to and from sites with no wasted time which gave us more opportunity to customize our stops. I was taking my 15 year old granddaughter to ICELAND and I chose this tour specifically because it did not go to lagoons as she was not interested in them but instead it stopped at an amazing volcano crater which was a real blast to walk around and such a fun experience...! The choice to stop at the Black Sand Beach prior to the horse and lunch stop was the best! It was hard to get her to leave. Then the expert horsewoman demonstrating the Icelandic Horse was such a delight my granddaughter who rides herself, could not get enough of ICELANDIC horses. I was so wrong about the Tomato House lunch stop... it was a great experience, warm and bright and so many tomatoes... sights and smells were invigorating...food was inexpensive and so tasty. Tomato Soup and the best home made breads ever. Imagine pasta and pizza made with tomatoes right off the vine! The drinks were imaginative and awesome too. We enjoyed the Geyser although we almost missed it watching a smaller one spit and spout! Keep walking down the path! The tourist gift store was amazing -- high priced but beautiful items. Then up and around to the tectonic plates at the National Park ... and a great walk upslope but not hard through the crevasse. Beautiful sights at every step. And, rest rooms filled with light! Our tour guide was a fun filled knowledgeable Icelander who made it obvious how he loved his country. We could not have wanted more he gave us options and more!
Really enjoyed the historical background from Frosty
The tour was amazing! Our guide was fun, knowledgeable, passionate about her country and she Even sang some Icelandic songs to us. All of the stops we made were breathtaking and the extra stop at the farm was super neat. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thank you!
Brilliant tour when we eventually got the minibus. The pickup info given to us was incorrect. Luckily they phoned me and we managed to get to the correct pickup point quickly. Small tour was brilliant as there was only 4 people on our tour and our guide Frosty was very informative and friendly.
Absolutely wonderful tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable, personable, great organizing skill. We were meet by tour representative and escorted to out bus. Highly recommended company!!!
