About this activity
Meet your guide at Reykjavik Terminal or add a convenient hotel pick up to your purchase, then hop aboard your bus for the onward journey into the Icelandic countryside. Along the way, listen as your on-board audio-guide sheds light on the diverse landscapes you pass.
First, visit the rugged Sólheimajökull glacier. During your glacier hike, see first-hand how the outlet glacier flows from the main ice-cap of Mýrdalsjökull. Then head onward to feel the spray on your face at Skógarfoss, and climb up the hill for spectacular views over the falls from above. From your vantage point on the hillside, watch the water plummet down to the Atlantic Ocean.
Your last stop is Seljalandsfoss — a waterfall widely considered among Iceland's most famous natural attractions. Walk behind the falls and peer through the wall of water.
When your time at the Seljalandsfoss is over, take the scenic route through an area known for its rich Viking history. Pass fertile farming lands and small villages, and watch the horizon for the mighty volcanoes of Eyjafjallajökull and Hekla.
Then, return in comfort to Reykjavik Terminal, where your tour will come to an end.

The description of the tour isn't accurate we thought we would be going to all the places listed but that isn't true. At the start of the journey, the tablet indicated people would have to choose between the glacier hike or touring the black sand beach/Vik village. We thought we're getting the whole package of visiting all these places which was why we booked the tour initially. We opted for the glacier hike but was disappointed we didn't get to go to Vik or the black sand beach b/c we chose to do the hike. And the entire tour didn't last 11 hours or close to it so didn't feel like we got our money's worth either. Also the stops at the waterfalls were also limited to 15-20mins to stroll around and have to return to the bus. I will suggest to change the tour description so others would know better than feeling they will get to do all these things when they are on the tour. Our glacier guide was good and our group was small so that gave us advantage to hike slightly higher on the glacier than others hike was 2hrs.
