After a safety briefing, walk to the take-off site with your tandem pilot who will control your glider during your flight. Put on your helmet and glider harness, and then take off from the hillside. As you float on the breeze, take in bird’s-eye views of the volcanic beaches, jagged mountains and shimmering Sólheimajökull glacier spread below.
After 10 to 15 minutes (depending on weather conditions) in the air, descend gently back to land

The day before the trip I got an email saying the paragliding was cancelled due to weather.We were really disappointed to find when we got to the bus station that the paragliding was never an option for us as they don't run in April at all. Dispite disappointment the rest of it was fantastic.
