About this activity

Your tour begins with hotel pickup at your Rio de Janeiro hotel at the time specified by you upon booking. You will meet your guide and you will take a van/minibus to Angra do Reis and take a boat tour. Angra means 'small bay' is part of a grand complex of bays and hundreds of islands.

During your sightseeing boat tour, you will be able to admire these islands and see the beautiful crystal clear waters and how they interact with the green colors of the islands' Atlantic rain forest. You will make a stop to enjoy some water sports (not included) and even have an opportunity to interact with dolphins.

This boat trip through the main islands of the region is mandatory to explore its beauty. Explore some of these wonderful beaches, bars and handcraft shops the island has to offer. Disappointing, however beautiful area. The description noted small group tour. This was a full size bus load to start that then joins another 3-4 full size bus loads that all then get on the boat. It was cram packed with people so if you are looking for a smaller group, there are other tours out there we found that would better suit your needs. It is a full day tour and what really disappointed us was not getting the correct information either from the get go on if it was a bus ride down or a boat from Rio down. So the tour day was very disappointing but again, you will see some beautiful sights outside of Rio.
