We were looking for a tour that gave us the two key highlights we came to Rio to see -- Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain. Our van was comfortable, the group was friendly and our tour guide Sergio was upbeat and knowledgeable. We appreciated that we had plenty of time to spend on our own enjoying each of the sites. We did not feel rushed and really felt that each spot was our own to explore safely and easily, They were easy to reach out to and showed up in less than 10 minutes from the time we were told to be at our pick up spot.
A really good tour made even better by our amazing guide Sergio Campos and roberto the driver. Sergio was very entertaining and full of great information, he really did make the tour for us. We were picked up on time and taken to the Christ redeemer first. On the way he explained the history about it and the city and answered any questions we had. He was very engaging and made us feel comfortable and relaxed and was able to talk about all sorts of topics with him, it was a great insight into the city and Brazil. After Christ redeemer he then took us to sugar loaf where views are are amazing, both these sights are a must for a visit to Rio and doing them both on this tour was hassle free and would highly recommend.
We were a little apprehensive at first, but we were so glad we choose to do the tour rather than doing it ourselves. It really took the stress out of the day and our guide (Sandra) and driver were both fantastic. Sandra really had excellent knowledge and was very entertaining. We were only a small group of 5 people and tour had the right amount of guided parts and then free time to explore both Sugarloaf and Christ the redeemer. I am not great with heights and was a little nervous, but i knew i couldn't come to Rio and not see both of these iconic attractions. Sandra made me feel completely comfortable and reassured me the cable car wouldn't be too traumatic and she was correct, it was very stable and there were plenty of places to stand away from the windows if needed. I would definitely do another tour with Sandra as she made it a perfect day. Thanks
I’ve been on many many tours in many many countries . I have to say Katia is one of the best. She made you feel welcome from the first moment . She was knowledgeable and funny. Very patient and was there for anything you needed. Went above and beyond
Would highly recommended this tour. Excellent tour guide, unfortunately his name escape me. He went out of his way to drop ourselves and another couple off at the cruise port. On the way back, he even took a detour due to roads being closed because of the Samba carnival, to the Maracana stadium and let everyone off the bus to take photographs. Then from here he took the group to a beautiful 15th century monastery next to cruise port. These two stops were included in the initial tour. Many thanks for a fantastic tour. Sorry we forgot your name Christ the redeemer and Sugar loaf are a must.
This tour was amazing!
Pickup was 40 mins late. Got to Christ redeemer and the tour guide told us we’d be switched out for 2 other people, so we were kicked off our tour and put on another. Not cool. Crowds were crazy and made waiting in line miserable. I thought as a tour group you can skip the line.
