Love the tour!
As a big football enthusiast, this was the first tour I booked when I planned my holiday to Brazil. Even after watching a game at the stadium the day before I had the tour booked, I was still excited to see all the facilities and stadium from another perspective. Our guide spoke perfect English, was very accommodating and friendly throughout, gave us plenty of time for photos, and knew his stuff about the history of Brazilian football. Overall, I am very pleased with what I saw and would recommend this tour to any avid football enthusiast.
The bus for the tour was huge causing the tour itself to be very late to arrive at the stadium. I did expect more things to see at Maracana, it's no where close to be the museum some of the other prestigious stadiums in the world are. JB was very nice but began sweating profusely and therefore penetrated the front of the bus with his strong body odor, but he was very kind and meant well. If I had to do this tour again, I would've taken a taxi there and bought the ticket at the door. It's way cheaper and faster. But Maracana is definitely worth seeing.
Overall it was good. Only saw the basics of the stadium e.g. Pitch side, changing room area not including showers/baths. Compared to other stadium tours this was very little
Our guide was full of great information, spoke great English, and was friendly. The tour was interesting. I felt we saw a lot. I would recommend this tour.
Great way to see the Maracana Stadium in a short amount of time. We hit all the high points and it only took a couple of hours including transport to and from. Walking out to the field through the players tunnel was a really cool experience.
