After pickup from you hotel, your guide takes you to the the hang gliding landing area at São Conrado Beach, where you can see adrenaline junkies jump from Pedra Bonita above and land on the shores. You will enjoy amazing views of the high mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. From there, you'll go through jungle roads in the Tijuca Forest, admiring the tropical rain-forest, before you reach Christ the Redeemer statue.

Then, stop for lunch (own expense) in Santa Teresa, one of Rio's most historic neighborhoods, that has maintained most of its original architecture from Portuguese colonial times. Today, the hillside neighborhood is known for it's bohemian vibe and excellent restaurants. Here, you can purchase inexpensive souvenirs, if you so wish.

The final stop on your tour will be Rio's iconic mosaic steps — the Escadaria Selarón. These are a postcard image of Rio, and have been featured in movies and music videos, including Snoop Dogg's "Beautiful" music video. To finish off the day, opt for drop-off at the Sugar Loaf Mountain, just in time for sunset. Or, if you prefer, you can simply be dropped off back at your hotel.
