About this activity
Spectacular views are waiting for you during this day tour, where you will experience the best in Rio. Your guide picks you up from your hotel whenever you choose to start the 7-hour tour. The private guide/driver ensures personal attention for your group and allows you to visit the sights at your own pace.
First, head to the base of the Sugar Loaf Mountain. A breathtaking ride in a cable car to the top of the Sugarloaf builds the excitement! When you reach the top, take in panoramic views of one of the world’s most beautiful cities.
Then, visit Rio's most famous beaches: Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon. Photo opportunities will be available at Mirante do Leblon (a lookout point at the beach). Stop for lunch at any point in the tour, just inform the driver. Lunch is not included.
The city's famous symbol, Christ the Redeemer, comes next. Located at 2,296 feet (700 meters), atop the Corcovado Mountain, the statue itself is almost 40m (130ft) high. This is arguably the most well-known monument in Brazil. Next, pass by the city's beloved Maracanã (where the 2014 World Cup final was played) and the Sambodrome (where the Samba Schools parade). Make your way through downtown Rio, the oldest part of the city and the modern-day business center. There will be many stops for pictures.
After the tour, you will be returned to your hotel. All entrance fees are included.
