What a difference our art historian guide Gio made. She was punctual, humorous and a great communicator. Worth the price!
Thorough and knowledgeable. Marta had a plan for us, we got more than we paid for. Would tour again.
Our guide Laura P. was exceptional. She was well informed of all aspects of the Vatican We were very comfortable with the pace we went , being I'm a little slow walking from medical condition I have. I would highly recommend this tour
Great tour. Just the right amount of time for a hot August morning. Massimo was so knowledgable and passionate. Kept us moving and had a good sense of humor.
There is so much to see and so little time, but something's I didnt want to miss. Therefore at some areas I felt rush. Our guide was very informative and did her best to avoid large crowds. Overall it was good, but felt fast at times.
This tour was well worth the early start. We were a group of 6 friends so it felt like a private tour. Our tour guide Massimo was incredibly knowledgeable, witty and utterly charming. We were lucky to visit the Sistine Chapel and Raphael rooms before the large crowds. Would highly recommend both the tour and our guide Massimo.
This was the best tour guide I have ever had, she was excellent... 10/10 Her knowledge was amazing.. It was unforgettable!!
The Early Morning Tour is really the only way to beat the crowds. This is a must see place for everyone and this tour really help with getting the most out of our day. The tour guide was also Amazing !!
We loved our experience at the Vatican with our LivItaly tour guide Alessia. Right away she told us what to expect of the day. She was a pro and knew things would get busy once doors opened for general admission so she took advantage of our early entry and got us quickly to see some main points of interest and the Sistine Chapel before the crowds hit and we were so grateful for that. Then we backtracked a bit to see the remaining high points of the collection and then the Basilica which was breathtaking. Her knowledge of art, architecture, and history of the Vatican was extensive and she kept us engaged the entire time. I would highly recommend the small group tour as we had a more personal experience. Overall Alessia helped us to experience the Vatican so much more than we could have on our own!
Great tour. Far too much to see in a four hour tour but “Rich” our tour guide ran us through managing to stay slightly ahead of the crowds. We got to see everything and got all of our questions answered. It was obvious our guide had a really good knowledge of the subject.
Our truly small Vatican tour was just perfect with 6 guests. Our guide, Mossimo, was fantastic! His experience and knowledge surpassed anything we were expecting and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. He knows where to go first to avoid crowds and knew just how much time we should allow at each stop. If you can ask for him--do it! We just got lucky.
We are so grateful that we took this small group tour! Our tour guide Andrea has really deep knowledge of all paintings and artifacts and we are very impressed with the details he provided! Definitely worth every penny, you still walk among many other groups in the morning, but it is nothing compared to the number of people I saw at noon, which is when the tour ends. We strongly recommend, enjoy! :) :) :)
Our tour guide Richard was knowledgeable but made numerous anti-catholic allusions and slurs during our Vatican museum tour. Really detracted from the visit. Dan
The tour and our guide were wonderful. Early morning is a great way to beat the crowds and the best way to see the Sistine chapel and the Raphael rooms!
The tour guide Valentina was very knowledgeable and friendly, we definitely would do another tour with her.
Early is better!!! There was still lots of people early in the morning but not nearly as many as later in the day. Our guide Giulia Pagliari was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, organized and friendly. Our group was small (6 people) and she was always able to get us close to what ever we were looking at. She had great knowledge of the objects we were viewing and enjoyable commentary. A guided tour is the way to go if you’re not knowledgeable able what you’re viewing.
Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great tour! Would advise early morning due to crowds. Would book again.
This has been our favourite tour of our trip. I am not religious, but the tour guide's knowledge of everything was really impressive and I found myself really enjoying it. For somebody who doesn't typically enjoy looking at art, nor am I catholic - I had a great time on this tour.
