About this activity
Rome in the evening is more beautiful and be more pleasant than during the day. When the daytime visitors have departed and many tourists have returned to their hotels and when there are fewer cars and scooters on the road, Rome is altogether quieter and less frenetic.

Especially during the hot summer days it is pleasant to tour Rome in the evening. Even if you have seen some of the sights by day they look different during the evening; when the sun has set and the monuments are lit up you get the opportunity to visit them in a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere.

On this special tour the children will enjoy treasure hunts, quizzes, photo contests and other activities that will keep them engaged whilst at the same time enjoying sightseeing with their parents.

You will visit the highlights of Rome’s city centre; Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia and many other amazing places, led by our very knowledgeable guide. The tour will be fun and informative so the kids will have a great time whilst also learning something of the history of this fantastic city.

And….. included in the tour there is authentic Pizza and Gelato from traditional makers – something for the whole family to enjoy!

This was the perfect tour to start our trip in Rome. Our tour guide, Marco, was amazing with the kids and told great stories, kept the pace interactive and fun all while showing us some amazing sites in Rome. The stops for pizza and gelato were a huge hit. We cant recommend this tour enough.

Wonderful tour. Great temperature for the walk. Marco had some great stories and really engaged the kids with his fun games. Our son is on the hunt for Madonellas everywhere. Pizza and gelato stops were awesome too!

What? Only 5 stars? Our family would give Marco and the tour 10 of 10 if we could. Marco was informative, entertaining, and full of energy from the first introduction through to the end. He even offered to walk us back towards our hotel since he was walking that way as well. Our 9 year old, who can sometimes be somewhat shy with new people, immediately became enchanted with Marco's games/challenges for the little ones. The stops on the tour were both formal/historical e.g., squares and fountains as well as light and entertaining e.g., the world's oldest bank and explaining what different street names meant. The pizza and gelato were, of course, delicious. Two words of advice: Do it.

We really enjoyed this walking tour. Marco was our tour guide and he was very enthusiastic, spoke excellent English and kept the kids engaged with activities and contests. It was our group of 6 and one other family of 4 so perfect. We had a stop for pizza and it was excellent! Probably the best pizza we had in Rome. We then had a stop for Gelato and again it was the best gelato we had while in Rome. We would highly recommend this tour tour to anyone travelling with kids!
