This is a great way to avoid the long lines. The service is fast and efficient with lots of workers available to help guide you.
Easy to find the person and excellent service from the person. We were very fast inside the Church..
The directions to the meeting point were very clear and the staff were exactly where they said they would be. They were very helpful and got us on our tour quickly and efficiently.
The process was so easy. It was a busy day as there had just been a PayPal audience. We showed our voucher to the police. Went through security and the box representatives showed us were to go. The girl at the desk was very helpful. No waiting. Several people serving and setting up the audio guide. On our phones. We we saw the crowds I couldn't believe we got right in!
Found the rep very easy in a very, very busy place. He was helpful and ushered us through. Absolutely no wait whatsoever! Very pleased i booked with Viator. Queues huge. Great, amazing place.
We got our skip the line tickets early and when we arrived there were people everywhere,we were told there was a 2 hour wait to enter the Basilica and when we showed our tickets we were inside within 5 minutes. The Basilica itself is awesome photos do it no justice you have to see it to believe it.
Tour was Sunday between 1 and 3. Arrived at the Square at 1:30. Had to wait in 90 degree get for over an hour. No aviator agents ()I followed the instruction and looked for them) anywhere to be seen to bypass the huuuuge line. Toughed it out, got through security, again looked for the blue jackets--nope. Then to checkin desk. Staff super helpful. Didn't know we'd have to use our cell phones to use the wifi there to download a Vox City app and then down load the self-guided tour. Have latest Apple phones but still tookat least 15 mins to do that. Would have been nice to tell us to down load at least the app ahead of time. The narrative program was xcellent. But this is touted as no wait and it was most definitely NOT
This ticket allowed us to skip a line that was over an hour long on a very hot day. The ticket offered a tour but there was no staff person present at the entry to provide the tour.
We found the reps very easily and got straight in. Audio guide worked well. Unfortunayely it was Sunday with many restricted areas and ceremonies in the Basilica. Didnt feel welcome, left very early.
I am so thankful to have found this self-guided tour. Booking and all the instructions were very easy to follow. It was wonderful to not have to take 2-3 hours of my sightseeing to wait in line. Thank you!
The dedicated access saved me and my wife atleast 2-3 hours if not more , that too in rain. We had a tight schedule and this dedicated access saved our time and energy. The one star reduction is for not finding the guy fir the audio guide. Had to use my own audio guide (The free one from Rick Steves). Else everything was great.
There truly was not a wait and the audio guide was great! We highly recommend this and would do it again!
Walked right in as promised. The audio portion was so good we purchased audio tours from the company for parts of Rome we had already toured and went back!
Paid for this tour after calling and purchasing a private access tour to the Vatican. Please note Vatican tours end in the Sistine Chapel--when you exit you have direct entrance to the Basilica. If you take a Vatican tour-you don't need to also pay for a Basilica Tour. Also if you call ahead for information with Viator--be aware that the agent on the phone apparently has no additional information other than what you can read yourself on the web site. I have enjoyed many fine Viator tours, but the company definitely needs to improve customer service calls to allow the proper information to be conveyed.
Glad I didn't have to wait in line. Wish I knew that I had to pay again to use the express lift.
This was not what I had expected. I realized it would be a self-guided tour, which is what I wanted, so I could spend as much time as I wanted in any specific place in the basilica, without having to run after a guide. We arrived at St Peter's at 1pm, found the meeting spot easily, but then were simply handed a piece of paper with log-in information. I asked where the audio guide was, and was told I needed to use my phone as the guide. I asked where the headphones were, and was told I would have to rent them inside. After arriving inside, I was informed that they did not have any headphones that would fit the iPhone 7, but that I should just hold the phone by my ear. My wife used her phone in this manner, but I had purposely not paid for international usage with my phone, since my wife's phone could be used for that purpose. I simply toured the basilica without any guide. Turned out we paid simply to skip the line. Wouldn't repeat that purchase.
Not having to wait in the hours long line was marvelous! The audio guide was comprehensive, easy to follow and the ability to listen to all or parts of it mad it easy to adjust to our slightly limited time schedule. The only downside of this experience was a bit of difficulty in finding the exact location to sign in and begin our tour. If that area was more easily found, this would be a perfect experience.
