Stop At: Angels & Demons Tour, Rome Italy
A unique and interesting way to go sightseeing in Rome, this ‘Angels and Demons’ tour is inspired by Dan Brown’s novel, but there is no requirement for having it read it or being a fan of Brown’s (although it may help!). It’s a memorable way to explore the city’s lovely squares, fountains, architecture and churches, made interesting with the twist of visiting lesser-known sites where pagan and Christian symbolism intertwine.
Following your guide, who is knowledgeable about both Roman history and the details of the novel, walk along Rome’s hallowed streets, stopping to discover sights like a hidden passageway that dates back centuries. As you hunt for secrets left around the city by Bernini and Galileo, the two heads of the Illuminati, visit locations mentioned in the book and hear about the Four Altars of Science, which represent the four elements of water, air, fire and earth. Sights you’ll see include the Church of Santa Maria del Popolo, St Peter's Square, the Church of Santa Maria della Vittoria and Ecstasy of St Teresa, Piazza Navona and the Church of Illumination, where you’ll glimpse the secret passageway that links the Vatican to Castel Sant'Angelo. By the time the tour ends, you’ll have a new appreciation for Rome’s air of intrigue.

Inti did a fabulous job setting the stage before, during and after each stop to bring us closer to the story and the theories. My husband hadn’t read the book and was equally enthralled with the tour.It was certainly a different approach to Rome and not something we’d likely tour on our own, let alone get out as much as we did form doing so.
Well what can I say about Roberto my tour guide? He is EVERYTHING that everyone says he is FABULOUS!!! The tour itself was great. I learned so much while on the tour that I took notes on my phone. Also, Robert spoke about the books during the tour and made it an interactive experience. Love his sense of humor. I will make sure that my friend books with him when she does the tour in September. Bravo Roberto.
My favourite tour! The tour took us to many of the sites from the book Angels and Demons, with great comparisons to the movie, and with both compared to reality. I also found the history of the sites, of Rome, and Italy fascinating, The best part of he tour was our tour guide Robert. Not only did he know the book, movie and Roman history exceptionally well, he was thoroughly entertaining and made the entire tour an awesome experience. Thanks so much!
Best tour we had on our trip. Robert is the best guide we have ever had, anywhere !
A fabulous trip led by Roberto. He was so knowledgeable about the book and film, as well as the history of the sites visited. He was very courteous, engaging and hilarious. Thoroughly recommend this tour .
Incredible, amazing, tour guide Int was excellent and very funny, we learned from the dan brown novel as never, very illustrative and good knowledge of churches and specific places in Rome thanks
Great tour. Our guide Ascia probably spelled wrong was very knowledgeable about both the Dan Brown book and the sites she took us to. Even though we had already been to a couple of the sites, her insite into how they related to the book was every enlightening.
