About this activity
After being picked up at your centrally-located Rome hotel, your first stop will be to enjoy a delicious pizza sitting in a typical Roman restaurant.
The adventure and fun of this tour continues with a ride through the Roman streets, filled with colors and lit-up with different lights everywhere. See how the arches of the Colosseum are lit up at night. Enjoy the Pantheon, one of the most well-preserved ancient temples in the world. Stroll through Piazza Navona, the most beautiful square in Rome. Here you will see three grand fountains, including Bernini's famous Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of the Four Rivers) and take in the atmosphere of the many outdoor cafes and bars lining in the piazza.
During the day, the Trevi Fountain is always crowded with people throwing coins into it, hoping for their wishes to come true. At night, you can avoid a lot of the crowds so you can experience for yourself the magical spell of standing and throwing a coin in the fountain in the romantic glow of the evening lights.
Before you go back to your hotel, there is one last stop. Rome has some of the greatest gelato in Italy and your guide knows know where to find it.
Visiting Rome at night, particularly under the romantic and magical glow of moonlight, amber streetlights, and the soft golden shimmer of candles at outdoor cafes, you will feel and understand the common saying, 'All Roads Lead to Rome.'

We had a wonderful time with our guide, Giovanni, who was very kind and knowledgable. My ten-year old daughter generally doesn't enjoy most of these tours, but she really liked this one, and not just because of the pizza and gelato. She even said Giovanni deserved a promotion, she liked him so much. Definitely a great tour for families with children.
Was picked up. Guide was excellent. Downside was the cafe got the meal wrong, what came the food was excellent. Apart from this the tour was excellent.
Our tour guide Amira picked us up at our hotels respectively. It was a wild ride through the streets of Rome. After pointing out and stopping to take photos, we went to a lovely meal. We had PLENTY of time to get to know one another as a group. Our guide DID NOT join us. From there on to other places. She gave us history and was knowledgeable on each place. Our last stop for food was Gelato in front of the Trevi Fountain. Before being dropped at our hotels, the Colosseum at night. Great way to see the city of Rome.
We didn't get to finish the tour as our guide got robbed near the colosseum and the tour got cut short. We also didn't get our gelato - don't know if we were supposed to get it at the end of our tour or if they didn't give it to us at dinner.
An incredible way to see such a beautiful City. Our Tour Guide, Giovanni Graziosi was superb. He took us to so many sites and not only explained the various sites, but the history behind them. It was no nice to get up close and personal with these many sites without the large crowds that frequent these places during the day. The restaurant he chose for our dinner of pizza was delicious! I highly recommend that you consider this tour.
Thoroughly enjoyed seeing and experiencing Rome by night. So interesting, vibrant and so much fun. The food was delicious and our driver was so knowledgeable and capable.
good evening, but spoiled by finding it difficult to understand the guide, she had such a heavy accent. The American couple that was on the trip gave up, they could not understand her at all. She was also in a hurry and felt we were rushed, apart from when having a pizza when we were left for too long!!What a Shame
Saw so many sights around the city! Many more than I was expecting and things I did not see on my own during the day. Guide was very informative and friendly. Amazing to see everything at night. Food was good.
Amira our guide was excellent. WE had had her as a guide before and we loved her. She is very patient and accomodating and knowledgeable no crowds Rome at night is truly beautiful
The tour started with a pickup at our hotel which is very convenient. Alberto (I believe) was a good driver and a great tour guide who spoke English very well. We started with okay pizza and tasty gelato at a pleasant restaurant. We rode by many sites and stopped at a few places. The most memorable were at an overlook street for the colosseum and walking around the lit up Vatican. This was a perfect tour for our first day in Rome. Better pizza would change the score to 5 stars.
Guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Enjoyed finally seeing the Trevi Fountain working. Excellent dinner and Deserts.
Great time visiting the sites and delicious dinner during the guided tour! Very knowledgeable tour guide. Would highly recommend this tour.
Very Nice. The guide was excellent had a great time. The restaurant for the pizza was nice ,service good as well as the food. The guide took great pains driving in the Rome traffic but was able to get us to all the sites
We decided on this tour our first evening in Rome to get acclimated to the beautiful city. Our tour guide, Amira was so disappointing. Her heavy accident made it extremely difficult to understand at times. When asked how many languages she spoke she said five and English was her weakest. She constantly complained about the walking tourists and many scooters which she called “mosquitoes”. Very unprofessional. Dinner was at a modern restaurant which took a lot longer than needed. When we asked she said the restaurant was very busy. Not the case as there were only a few tables occupied inside and out. We think it was intentional to have less time for the tour. The restaurant was modern and no authentic feel. She basically drove us to each spot and gave us little or no information on each site just the time to return to the van. We do not recommend this tour. This was our fourth tour on our trip and the only one we regret.
Rome by night is a must to do, so beautiful. We were picked up at our hotel and taken to a wonderful dinner and then taken to the Spanish Steps, several fountains and the Roman Colosseum. Far less crowds at night. Our guide was very knowledgeable.
We had a great tour. Our guide was Excellent. He was knowledgeable and very good at navigating the wonderful city. The restaurant and the food were very enjoyable.. We all had a spectacular evening. Thanks.
