Your itinerary may be arranged as follows:

Pick up 9am at your accommodation, in the lobby of your hotel or apartment. The first stop is at the magnificent Colosseum to take few pictures.

Next, head to the Circus Maximus, where you'll get an overview of the Palatine Hill and the Palace of the Roman Emperors. This famous hill overlooks the Roman Forum and the City Hall.

You will see the Vittoriano Monument, which holds the tomb of the unknown soldier. See the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and its beautiful Bernini fountains, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish steps. Continue on to Saint Peter's Square and then up to Gianicolo Hill to admire Rome from its highest hill point. End the tour with an artisanal gelato before being returned to your accommodation by 1pm.
